Pages

The number of pages for your business card should always refer to the finished (e.g. folded) format.

For example: double sided business card unfolded, 85x55mm, printed front and back - You would select: double sided print

For all folded business cards it is necessary to provide a assembled file, so one file for the front and one for the back of your business card, i.e. 4 -1 and 2 - 3 as printable spreads.

The size of your business card that you have to select in this box should always refer to the final finished product. For example it would be wrong to select double sided for any folded product.

When it comes to designing your business cards it is very important to include a 2mm bleed to all edges. Please get further information how to set up your business cards by checking the factsheet provided online.

Paper

Our business cards are exclusively printed on wood free, white and double varnished branded paper, which will be refined with dispersion varnish. The wood free offset paper (suitable for ink-/ laser printers) contains a very bright white and fine textured surface. The chromoboard for our business cards is entirely matt and writable on the back, shiny varnished at the front and very voluminous.

Print

The Print of the Business card is realised in CMYK and Pantone. When placing the order you can choose between standard or individual spot colour, additional cost will occur on the second option. Under Screen-/ Paper proof you can order a screen proof or colour binding paper proof of your business card , certified after the Fogra quality standard.

Information:
On large scale, across whole pages layout, there are possibilities of technically related colour variation issues. For that reason we advise to use spot colours (Pantone) on these areas.

Here you can select how your business card will be finished. You can either go for just trimming, corners rounded or folding. Please make sure that you selected the correct number of pages for your business card earlier on.

Example: Business card, 85 x 55 mm Standard format, 4 pages. The correct selection reads: Trimming, grooving (plano). The product will be non-folded on delivery.
